Nobody here as yet. 635. 9649 now apparently alone in the granary here. 705. 9648 here also - in Stone Oak over by the road. 712. Both 99 together now. 713. A set of 3 (?) intruders flew in together coming from the direction of Haystack. Chasing began immediately. At least 1 of the intruders is an unbanded 9? 720. Both 8492 and 8493 here for sure. 8622 most likely here. 730. A fair amount of activity, but no obvious interest in any holes. Going to check the one Ron saw birds in (I can't really see that hole from here.) 30 May 630. Here again. Immediately upon arrival 8493 was here peering into the hole as if someone were inside (?). 730. 8493 continued to show some interest in the hole for some time, but I never saw any sign that anyone was inside. Going to check it (if possible). 800. Climbed up and looked in with the peeper as carefully as I could, but saw nothing. 4 June 620. Watching. Flushed 1 bird when I arrived. Several birds calling from Blountwo. 630. Over in Blountwo's '80 nest tree are 9649 and 8493. 640. Now 8493 back hawk[ing] at Blomone. 8492 here also. 710. 8493 actually went briefly into a hole in the [illegible] roost tree by the road! 715. Leaving. Going to make a quick check of that hole. No sign of 9648 today.
