Counted stores: Tree 1: 1503 Tree 2: 454 Also took a sample of stored acorns; 41 from tree 2 and 14 from Tree 1 (and replaced them with my own). 4 April 1515. Counted stores: Tree 1: 667 Tree 2: 70 Well on their way down! 14 April Pam saw #623 at Y this evening - see Y notes. 18 April 1730. None in any holes here. 24 April 1015. " " " " " I climbed up to last year's (successful) nest and moved a small dead limb that had fallen in front of it, partially obstructing the entrance. 30 April 1500 has a nest; see Ron's notes for more details. Purge: 38492, 493, and 622: all 3 moved to watched group (Blomone) on 23 April. 31 May Banded and bled the 4 babies here as #675-678 (~1500) 2 June The latest change here is that within the last several days, 3622 has apparently returned for good and is feeding the babies here at the nest. 3622. Returned ~28 May. 18 June 1030. Counted stores: Main tree: 185 20 tree: 13 25 June 709. 3297 is in the Burbage forest abutting Blonquist field about 100 m from the Hastings fence line (step) With him is j676; it also sounds like several other birds are in the trees behind him. 2 July 1215. j675 over at BLON TWO (apparently); see general M.f. notes. 15 August 1115.
