1981 Walter D. Koenig Malanapes famicivorus Y Hastings Reservation 3 June 945. At least 2 birds in the Lower Barn area. While I was walking down a 3rd flew in from Plague, and was chased. 1620. 8 B12-Yel/Dr #521 from Plague here on top of the Knoll and over in the big Blue Oak above the Lower Barn. 1625. Meanwhile someone is giving a few Carricks over by the Y '75 nest tree. I flush a bird from there, and then see 3 birds in a chase by the barnyard. 1 flies up by me, who turns out to be 6521 again! 7 June Pam saw 8571 from Gazebo up on the Knoll this morning; see Ron's notes for comments on this bird up the 2nd canyon as well. 8 June 730. 2 birds (at least) up on the Knoll. 18 June 815. j661 (from Plague) along with 1 or 2 adults at the Lower Barn here. 20 June 650. Around the Lower Barn are 8402 and j668 from School Hill and an unbanded ♀ (1). The ♀ is in back now while the others are in front, but with luck... 27 June 1817. At least 3 birds up on the Knoll together. 28 June 630. 24 birds here in front of Lower Barn. 1 is Qwn/DB #260 from School Hill; others are presumably SH also. Birds flew off back behind the Knoll. 905. Still 2 birds sitting in front of the Lower Barn. 10 September 700. A set of 6-8 birds, 1st by John's house and now by the Y. 1 is 8DB/wn#660 (still 8 type) from Plague; also at least 1 ub 8 and ♀. Birds not particularly together.
