Field 14 INPUT-OUTPUT CODE. Entry 1 denotes that the temperature values were obtained from BT prints. Entry 2 indicates that temperatures were read from unprocessed BT glass slides and grids. For entry 3 see below. (Additional codes pertain to output card only.) 15 CARD NUMBER. 03 is number of first detail card. Number of last card shown should match entry in Field 31. SPECIAL NOTE: Card number 50 is an optional special-use flexure point card. Up to ten flexure points can be recorded. On card number 50, the flexure point depth, a 3-digit entry in whole feet or meters, precedes the respective 3-digit temperature entry. The flexure point card is further identified by a 3 in Field 14. GENERAL NOTE: INPUT listings may carry a number of apparently incomplete entries; when only cruise andslide number (Fields 1 and 2) are shown it indicates a BT trace which could not be digitized for various reasons and is in- cluded for NODC inventory purposes only. 5.
