Rocko Partida
March 20, 1967
Rocko Partida is a rock about 110 feet high, 150 feet long,
and 75 feet wide, jutting abruptly out of the Pacific at about
18°55'N, 112°04'W. Birds probably breeding on the island are:
Common Noddy (300±), Blue-faced Booby (20±), Leach's Storm Petrel,
Townsend's Shearwater, and possibly Sooty Terns (a swirl of about
50 birds with courtship flight was observed). Six Magnificent
Frigatebirds roosted on the island.
