Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus Hastings Reservation (17 September) they were hanging around through June (Pam, at least, reported seeing birds in this area regularly) and possibly into July. No one here in August or early September for sure → Abandoned about 30 June ± 2 wks. 15 October 1209. In the locusts behind the lower Barn is ♀ white/m, no doubt ♀260 from School Hill. She flew off toward the SH direction, but calls indicate she's hanging around, at least for awhile.
