Hastings Reservation
17 May
1100. I didn't see anyone here during the 10 minutes I
sat around, but I did hear several birds (3?)
call over on the knoll area at one point.
24 May
1000. Some activity over this way. Now that I'm here, things
are quiet, but there is a ♀ in the Black Oak nest tree,
(208) wm-DS-wm #126 just flew up to the Black Oak.
1010. Looks good for this group as well. Going to check holes.
1725. None seen here in passing or in any of the holes.

18 June
1000. I walked all over here, finding no sign of life except at
the end when one bird, a ♂, flushed from up by the old corral
and flew over to the field in between the corral and A1.
Unfortunately I have no idea whether he was a Bianca bird
or what.
25 June
1930. Flushed 2 ♂♂ (008DS/light #123; the 2nd banded also) from the
hole in the "new" area. Before I do anything rash here it might
be worth checking for a nest.
3 July
Add: ♂123, ♂126. Here on 12 May with a ♀ and acting
new and interested ⇒ Moved here ~12 May (see also A3 notes)
Proven is most likely
Founded
Unbanded. Also apparently proved here ~12 May. Needs
to be seen again, however!
7 July
1930. Birds in the hole in the "new" area again.
15 July
600. Successfully ambushed the hole in the "new" area, catching
♂123 and ♂126 as expected. Otherwise, there was no ♀ in the hole
nor any indication that another bird is present on the territory
