2 June 1710. 8120 sitting, apparently by himself, in the sap tree.
Noone in any of the known holes, however.
7 June 1115. Noone in any holes here. I went up to the '78 nest
hole, however, and cleared out the 2nd Starting nest
(they had had 4 eggs again already!).
11 June 1545. A bird in one of the holes in the Blue Oak over at UA2
(near A3) almost certainly was from this group and may
portend a nest here!
1915. Bird in the hole again. It's a nest!
12 June 900. Noone in the hole this time, but I went up to check
anyway and found 3 fresh (clean and translucent) eggs.
Now all we have to do is watch here to find out who's
here and what they're doing!
Larry watched the hole here at dusk and reported
that noone roosted here this evening in the nest.
17 June 1730. Checked the hole (after flushing a bird out): still 3 eggs.
19 June 815. Watching the hole. Noone in it upon arrival.
