Eggs marked 1 and 2. 7 May 1330 Still 2 eggs. Slightly dirtier than hier. No one in nest 9 May 1630 No one in nest. Only 1 egg (#2), stone cold. Nest abandoned. 24 May 1030 ♀ in hole. Hole opened: 4 eggs, not particularly fresh: ① 21.7 × 17.0 (a nut?) ② 26.5 × 20.8 ③ 26.5 × 20.6 ④ 25.7 × 20.1 Did not hatch- Didn't appear to contain an embryo (see back). 25 May 900 Still the same 4 eggs, warm. 29 May PM-30 May AM Eggs hatched. 2 June 1600 Hole opened: 2 babies + egg 1 (not hatch) #497 ① DP-or ② LS-Yel 2 June 1600 21.8".5 22.0".5 9 June 1630 Both ok. 12 June 730 Both ok. 18 June 1800 Both ok. 21 June 700 76.7 81.5 78.5 79.5 (tail feathers definitely longer)
