1815. Checked the nest and weighed the babies, all 4 of whom look good.
3 June
Watched the nest from 800-1030 today. See compilation
on back.
21 June
1330. Banded and bled the babies, all 4 of whom look fine.
They are now #499-through 502.
3 July
Add: #293. Moved here about 15 April (see R1 notes).
Delete: #67. Last seen on 15 April, apparently gone by
27 April -> Disappeared about 21 April ± 1 week
17 September
1630. Most of this group is in the Valley Dale and adjacent Live
Oak up on the side of PO Hill below the chaparral where R1
used to hang out regularly. (on the R1 side of the 'divide').
Seen were ①♂ α-B/α-B #63, ②♂ red/LB-wn #66, ③♂ Tan-R/T-R #282,
④ j->♀ Red/LG #500 (molting to ♀) and ⑤ j. Yellow #501 (still
♂-type). All here eating acorns and the like.
⑥ j DB/Lα- #499 (still ♂-type)
1645. Leaving.

1345. Watching. ①♂ M1Red-T #282 in Sycamore granary.
②♀ M1/Red-LG #293 in PO granary.
1400. ③♂ 4e/M #501. At the moment there are 2-3 jwv in
the granary either storing or eating acorns.
1412. ④♀ Red/LG #500 in Syc. nest tree.
No sign of jwvs getting chased out of the granary here.
