-10- MARINE MAMMALS Marine mammals were scarce throughout the cruise. The majority of the few seen were along coastal waters. The only spectacular event was being able to view numbers of Pacific White-sided Dolphins through a sub- surface view plate as they performed aquatic acrobatics riding the bow wave in front of the ship.
