(14 May) 1940. Exactly the same thing happened tonight,
except that I saw who the 2 candidates were;
82563 and 82749. Unfortunately, I
can't be sure which stayed.
20 May 1300. Just to make sure we get them, we baited
and bled the 5 kids here. All will probably
make it. Still stores here, by the way.
19 June 1215. Based on Devin's call, I climbed up and
checked the old hole (tag #289), only to find
6 incubated eggs! ETD ~ 23 June) Wow!

8 Apr 1115. Bird in (new) hole below the old one in
the dead locust closer to Labs.
1330. Opened hole: 7 eggs, fairly fresh.
Tagged hole #5563.
11 Apr 1815. Took The eggs, for exp #2 of The season:
① 26.8 × 19.8 ② 26.7 × 19.5 ③ 24.8 × 19.0 ④ 25.2 × 19.4
⑤ 25.8 × 19.0 ⑥ 25.9 × 19.3 ⑦ 24.3 × 18.4 (not developing).
First 6 are all nice and opaque.
28 Apr 1300. Bird in (old) high hole: checked it: empty. New
hole empty also.
1320. Bird in new low hole in locust nearest The tank:
9 eggs, incubated. Hole tagged #5555.
5 May 1200. 5 babies, ~3-do (1 on way out,
probably), + 1 developed but unhatched egg.
