(EHD: 28 April) Lots of stores here still. 2 May 945. 3 babies, 4-5 do, +1 unhatched, added egg, Band ~ 16 May. 17 May 1230. Banded the 3 kits. Stores: yes; plenty. 19 July 1515. Checked the 2nd nest: 4 eggs, but all are infertile or at least undeveloped! Too bad. Still stores here. 31 August 1600. A whole group of birds flushed together- nate-guarding? 2001 13 April 1245. Bird in old hole (#289): 8 eggs, fresh. 25 April 1600. 4 babies + 1 egg ①25.5×18.8. ~2 do Band 14 May. 14 May 830. Banded the 4 kits (#3398-3401). 1 June 1630. 2nd nest, high in the locust behind the 6am (tagged 1324). 5 eggs, 1-2 days inc. EHD: 11 June. Measured 2: ①26.7×19.3 ②26.6×19.1 13 June 1330. Hole completely empty!! 26 June 1100. Back in the 1st hole: 6 inc. eggs. Measured 2: ①25.7×19.7 and ② 25.1×19.0, EHD: Soon. 1 July 1245. Only 3 eggs, 1 of which is partly crushed and unlikely to hatch. Other 2 could still be OK and ② ① would appear to be hatching imminently. 15 July 1700. Nest is empty. Meanwhile, the birds are
