2001 2002 2003 Walter D Koenig Melanerpes formicivorus Cabin HWHR 8 December 0700. Ambushed the nice hole Jen found in a Blue Oak over by the watertanks (see Map on back-). This is my first real lead on this group, which I I totally spaced out last spring even though they clearly existed. No doubt they nested here at least one. In any case, I hailed 4 birds: 3 NOBA Fy's (9299, 18) + 93523, a kid from Plague. So! Unless I'm wrong and one of those 9's was an adult, the B? is still probably unbandied here, but most likely I have everyone else, since The B88' are Plague birds. 2002 30 March 530. Ambushed the roost hole up over from the watertanks, nailing 1 bird (93636), one of the Fy's I caught in December. 17 June 93635 seen roosting (or at least entering the nest) at Plague. 2003 30 April 1400. Bird in hole up canyon over from Watertanks: 4 eggs, 2-3 do. ① 24.4 x 18.7 ② 24.8 x 18.3 ③ 24.7 x 18.7 ④ 25.4 x 19.0. Hatch ~ 8 May. This is actually Upper Barn! 11 May 1600. 2 kids, ~4 do. Band ~ 28 May. Hole tagged #100. [This is Upper Barn!] 27 May Meanwhile, it looks like the 3 kids we banded yesterday at "Plague" are really
