Opened the old hole, but empty. 26 Apr 1315. Bird in hole again: still empty. 30 Apr 1600. Noone in either hole, 10 May 1115. Bird in the other hole (the one they didn't use last time): 6 eggs, fairly fresh. 2 were broken (possibly, but not definitely, by @@@ wood chips I made getting to the hole so I could reach down to the bottom) and were thrown out (these were not tiny punctures, but major cracks). ① 25.0 × 11.0 ② 25.7 × 18.8 ③ 25.9 × 19.0 ④ 26.2 × 18.9 ⑤ 25.1 × 18.4 (thrown out) ⑥ 26.6 × 18.5 (thrown out) Still 4 good eggs left. 20 May 1100. 3 hatchlings, + 1 egg, partly hatched.
