So: still need a nest here.
24 May
1500. Finally got the nest here - it's it is one of
the holes in the N-facing limb of the old
granary - but not the hole I thought they
were interested in! And, to add insult to
injury, it has 2 old babies in it! With
luck we didn't miss any, but it is possible.
29 June Checked the nesthole - Peromyscus nest;
cleaned out.
16 July 1200. Bird looking out of new nest hole!
Opened it: 1 kid! Take note: these birds
apparently do not look out!! This is the
second one, both of which we only found
because the kid looked out.

28 May 1115. Babies squawking in Black Oak below
main area! Opened new hole: 2 kids, old!
Banded them as #3697-3698.
