930. Plenty of stores, even though the granary continues
to disintegrate. Flushed 3 birds from the trees over
to the SW of the granary; otherwise none in any holes.
940. None over at Buckeye Annex.

Still plenty of stores.

Ambushed here this morning (lower hole in the
Valley Dale up the hill) nabbing 5 birds: 8'3065,
92826, j8'3242, and 2 NOBAs, one an adult
& and the other a juv molting to a &. Sheesh!
So what's up? Here's the scoop: 8'3065 moved
here back in late 1999 after having been caught
at Chongo (where he was roosting but not
necessarily a resident). There were a couple of
censuses, but nothing all that successful or
extensive. Then, last spring, Greg only saw
8'3065 and 91968 at the nest. But Teresa immediately
saw the 8 NOBA on 26 August. So, here's my
guess: the A8 NOBA (3325) is a brother or relative
of 8'3065 and joined the group this last summer.
About that time or in early fall they had a 2nd nest,
from which j8'3326 fledged. 91968 is presumably
still there - but perhaps I'll wait and talk to Lauryn
to find out for sure...
Turns out Lauryn hasn't seen 91968 either
so I don't really know what's up. However,
for the time being, I'll assume she's still here.
