17 Apr 930. Bird in last year's hole.
1400. Checked hole: empty. Birds clearly interested
in it, though.
5 May 1515. Bird in hole (#5554). 3 fresh eggs:
① 25.8 × 20.4 ② 25.2 × 20.2 ③ 25.3 × 20.3.
11 May 1015. 4 eggs. #4: 24.8 × 19.3. EHD: 17 May
20 May 1300. 1 baby, young (1-2 do) + 3 unhatched
(but still might, I guess) eggs. Band
~ 9 June.
1 June Bora Starling babies in their old hole
by the way (the one with the 2 entrances).
1630. Cleaned out a nest + 4 kids (starlings!)
from hole #263.
9 June 1200. Banded the 1 kid here!
24 Aug No stores left here,
12 Sept 1800 1300. A nest here! 2 kids ~ 7-8 do. Band
~ 26 Sept.
25 Sept 1530. Caught #225 (and banded the 2 kids,
taking blood for SI analysis.
27 Sept 1400. Checked the kids for their 1st & 2nd primaries,
both of which are still finger & weak:
