1030. Lots of acorns left. Bird in 2001 hole:
4 fresh eggs. Measured: ① 27.0×20.3 ② 25.4×19.2
③ 24.9×19.1 ④ 25.7×19.2. Eggs marked.
29 April
1600. Checked nest: 3 babies, ~4 do, +1 unhatched
egg, apparently infertile. Band ~16 May.
Egg unhatched is: 26.5 × 19.0. (!?!) Are my
measurements all screwed up? Doesn't seem likely
that this is a 5th egg...
16 May
1800. Banded the 3 kids here. Still stored
acorns.
22 August
1300. No stores left here.

appear!
