22 April) 1515. Checked the nest, which is in the older of the holes
used in recent years (no tag). 7 eggs (1 a runt);
incubated. (EHD: 27 April). Measured 1: 25.8 x 20.4.
17 May 1400. Banded & bled the 5 kids. Lots of acorns left.

24 April 1400. Bird in new hole in traditional tree.
25 April 1100. Opened the hole: shallow, empty, but probably
useable. Meanwhile, I cleared out a Starling
nest from one of their old holes.
14 May 1500. Finally found the hole, which is in the
garmany and was hidden by foliage, it's now
Marked #1319 (it's basically right above
the gate). There are 5 incubated eggs.
21 May 1030. 3 babies ~2 do. Band ~9 June.
