18 May
1015. Opened the lower (connected) hole in the forest
blue oak up toward Catebo that Joey saw a bird
in yesterday: nice shape, but empty.
22 June
Opened the new hole over by the trough where
there was a bird yesterday, but it's empty.
18 July
They would appear to be out of acorns
6 Sept.
Bird in the hole opened back on 22 June.
A nest, finally?
7 Sept.
1400. Checked it (bird in hole again): empty!

1415. Bird in the new hole (opened 22 June 00).
6 April
930. Checked the hole: nice but empty.
16 April
1630. Bird in hole this morning, but still empty!
7 May
1400. Bird in live oak hole. Time to open it!
8 May
1400. None in the live oak hole, but I opened it
anyway: nice shape, but empty.
14 May
1600. There are 5 eggs (incubation status
unknown) in the "new hole" opened in June 2000.

The only question is: is this CVGrande or
LARB2? There are still birds hanging
around (but not in) the live oak hole, who
I think are CVGrande birds. We'll see.

stores here.
