Checked hole: empty. 2nd failure for these guys! 2003 7 April Bird in traditional hole. 17 April 1200. Finally opened the hole: empty. Early nest failed? Who knows? Could have been anything, or nothing. 7 May 1145. Bird in hole: 5 eggs, incubated. ① 22.5 × 18.3 (not developed) ② 24.6 × 19.4 (not developed) ③ 24.6 × 20.0 ④ 24.9 × 20.4 ⑤ 24.8 × 20.4. Hatch ~ 10 May; band ~ 31 May. 29 May 1100. Banded and bled the 3 kids here. 2004 4 May 1330. Bird in hole: empty. 11 May 1500.
