4 May The birds nesting here in LARB's traditional
hole turn out to be a new group - not
LARB's nest!
Tonight I watched roosting and the events
of 1 May were basically repeated. And in
hindsight, here's what I think happened
both nights:
① 3 DB-WM Blue #3216 (not the LARB ♀!)
entered.
② 6 M/BLK #301 3217 entered, after which
I bird looked out and eventually left.
I assume that 3 3217, having come
last, was the 3 who stayed both nights,
although it's impossible to be sure.

1945. Watched roosting: [3] DB-WM / CB #3216
roosted by himself for sure.
28 May
1945. Again, it was [8] Blue-wm/Blue #3216 in
the nest by himself tonight. No one else came
or was at all interested.
30 May
1130. 6 babies, ~4 da. Band 6/16. One was such a
runt that I took him for tissue, leaving 5.
14 June

where to look! Joey found a modest number around!
