(calipers checked). Could this be H-Blom's
nest?

with 4 kids up within Hay-Blom's (usual) territory?

Yes - this is indeed Soto Springs, although I'm
not sure who all the birds are. See map on
back. In any case, I came up at 1700 today
and all 4 kids were dead in the nest. I don't
think they'd been dead more than a couple of
days. Presumably another weather casualty at
some level (it's still cold, rainy, + miserable out)!
