We got a nest, with babies, in a new hole low in one of The trees over toward Soto Springs. 1105. Bird also flew out of the old high hole over toward Dipsy. What's up here? 28 April 1430. Opened the new hole: 4 chunky kids ~10-11 do. Band ~ 8 May. [Soto Springs, perhaps? (KLS) 1500. Meanwhile, the old high hole (tag 275) has 7 incubated eggs. What's going on here?! 8 May 1715. 2 babies (out of The 7 eggs!) ~4 to. Band ~ 25 May. Weather is definitely being a problem! 25 May 800. Banded The 2 kids. Acorns: Yes, lots 3 July Still acorns; but no sign of a 2nd nest. 29 Sept. Very few, if any, stores here. 2004 12 May Hole #1307 (at Dipsy) cleared out of a nearly-fledged starling nest. Meanwhile, I'm pretty sure that Their (H-Bs) traditional hole (The high one over on Oak Ridge) has a starling in it as well. Yes! Definitely. 24 May Checked Hole 1307 at Dipsy: empty, but in good shape
