In place of the two most frequent landbirds of the early fall (Mourning
Dove and Brown-headed Cowbird) Starling and Audubon's Warbler are presently
the dominant late fall accidentals. A Starling freshly dead was found on
the water during skiff work in section "Z".
Review of Accidental Land Birds Occurring on EGS's 10 to 16, 19 July and
8 November, 1967.
