Could be Delphinus, but no good marks - dorsal fin correct shape and dark. - Nothing riding bow wave now. Same size group - saw as 0817 bunch? - Passed northward directly under bow, but did not stop to ride bow wave - Could see backs only - behaved just like 0817 group - Made good size splash despite coming only partially out of water. Healed directly north away from ship, so couldn't get good side view of dorsal fin. Gad! - what a beautiful day for everything except birds 1045 B.F.A.lb 3 Now following About 12 logs, etc., passed by during the morning. 1230 Sperm whale - 4+ - blew repeatedly then fluked & sounded. 1345 Ye to 90° 1400 Floating log aboard - ca 10-15 / 14. 1405 Erolia melanota 3 SW Perturb Rel 2.
