Both birds on the telephone pole. 1600. Counted stores: Plague: 510 ? Tel Pole: 30 540 10 March 9157 seen in Plague. 11 March 8 361 seen in the telephone pole. 14 March 9157 in 20 tree. 23 March 9157 working on a hole in the telephone pole for awhile. 24 March Counted stores: Plague: 75 ? Tel Pole & Barn: 58 133 31 March 9157 trying to dissuade a Crow standing on the vertical face of the telephone pole pilfering acorns. 2 April 700. 9157 on telephone pole again. 8 April Both birds in the top of Plague this afternoon - the 8 with a nice acorn in his bill. 17 April 950. 9157 atop Plague. None seen in any holes. 19 April 1200. Counted stores: Plague 78 ? other: 12 90. 22 April 9157 seen atop Plague; 8 atop 20 tree. 24 April 900. Steve mentioned that there was an intruder here at about 800 that was being chased; walking out and looking it was clear that there were now at least 4 intruders, and that action was going up fast here. I quick put up the net in Plague and then went up on the hill to watch at 910.
