No good sign of a nest yet, but I'll check the holes here before departing. 915. Noone in holes on this side. 9 June 650. Noone in any holes on either side of the gulch. 17 June 1700. Nothing seen over at Chongo except for one or two distant birds hawk ing over on Buckeye Hill. 4 October 1815. Possible bad' news for this group - walking over at dusk I saw no stores, nor did I here or see anyone roost here. 13 October Ron watched here for about an hour, seeing no sign of any birds. This group still has no stores, and may have bit the dust, at least for the winter. 30 November Though the last time I actually observed anybody here was 30 May, I will surmise that the group remained intact until 1 September, and was certainly gone by 4 October; i.e. all birds (except 8319, see below) Abandoned about [Not seen again, so far] 17 Sept ± 1 month. This includes 8234, 8424, 8368, 8369, 8370, and 8 rub. 8319 was last seen on 12 March, and I will assume he was gone by the good watch on 30 May → Disap. about 21 April ± 1 month. Presently this territory is empty.
