No sign of anybody here. 3 May 1610. Flushed ♀ DB-w/whit/DG #290 and ♀ M/or#289 from the granary here (both 2nd yr A3 birds). 4 May 1500. Possibly flushed one bird from here. 13 May 1055. ♀ Yel/DB#128 from A3 at lip of the nest hole (76-77) here. My goodness. I wonder what's up here? 920. 1 bird flushed from here, but noone in any holes. 18 May 21 May 955. Noone seen here in passing. 22 May 1810. Noone in the holes here. 25 May 1300. Flushed one bird from the general vicinity and then 2 birds - a ♂ and a ♀, from the old nest hole! I couldn't tell who they were, but something may be up after all. I am particularly suspicious that the A3 birds may be annexing this area (and its nest hole - used in 1976 by ♀128) rather than that there is a new group here, but in any case further investigation is required. 25 June 1530. Flushed 3 birds from the hole (14, 208); thus went up and checked it, but nothing. Hmm.
