Went up to the next hole (where there were no birds) and found the same old 2 eggs! Clearly, however, this nest has failed (=been abandoned) as it is now the 12th day since I found them. 20 June 1625. Noone seen here in or out of holes. Plenty of stores still remain, however. 24 June 940.
