13 May 810. Watching. lots of flycatching and activity just up
from here.
815. ♀♂ hawking here. Also ♂♂ or /#284.
840. Walking up - several birds still hawking furiously
up the fence line a ways. ♀ Ret /M #283.
18 May 935. Nobody seen here in passing.
24 May 1930. At dusk, birds apparently roosted somewhere in the
large Valley Oak granary on the Hastings side.
28 May 1145. Noone seen here but I found the hole where they are
probably roosting.
29 May 1900. Having set up for an ambush, I watched at dusk.
First, 2 birds went in the hole. Several minutes later 2 more
came and sat at the hole before flying off. Both of these
went in another hole up in the next tree up along the
fence, but then one of those left and flew elsewhere.
So - this is potentially very exciting, as ♂114 is probably one
of the 4 and - who knows - maybe the ♂6♀ who's breeding at
Keep Out? I do have to catch these birds!
30 May 1945. Couldn't find anybody roosting here tonight!
1 June 830. Lots of activity up here as I'm down watching at Keep Out!
5 June 910. Nothing seen up here in passing.

3 July 1910. 1 bird flushed from one of the remaining holes on the old west
limb and at least 2 others in the hole I opened last year.
7 July 500. After considerable preparation, 4 birds roosted in a hole
in the old nest tree last night and this morning (at 400)
