At dusk, birds apparently roosted somewhere in the large Valley Oak granary on the Hastings side. 28 May 1145. Noone seen here but I found the hole where they are probably roosting. 29 May 1900. Having set up for an ambush, I watched at dusk. First, 2 birds went in the hole. Several minutes later 2 more came and sat at the hole before flying off. Both of these went in another hole up in the next tree up along the fence, but then one of those left and flew elsewhere. So - this is potentially very exciting, as ♂114 is probably one of the 4 and - who knows - maybe the ♂6♀ who's breeding at Keep Out? I do have to catch these birds! 30 May 1945.
