A ♂ was here in the granary briefly holding the well- beaten body of a Sceloporus about 2½-3 times as long as his bill. The head was not evident, and it had clearly been thrashed around a good deal since its capture. The bird flew off without doing anything with it except hold it in its bill. This is the 2nd Sceloporus I've seen apparently predated by AW-the 1st was at R3 earlier this year. ② 25.
