The [quite uncommon] "Live Oak" at Santa Barbara Durango I have no information on the bark or acorns of this uncommon, third species. It is also evergreen. Leaves: oval 7.5 x 6 cm Small prickles on edge (4 or 5 at top of vein on each side) Top gray-brown. Underside shiny, smooth, light green, not haired A smaller, newer leaf. 5 x 3.5 cm. Leaves quite leathery.
