At dusk tonight 888 was the only bird roosting in the nest (best I could tell!). 8'nows (#298) plus 8'348 seen going to the nest before dusk as well. 22 May 1140. Watching nest. 1150. ! Lots of activity here - greetings, etc. - a minor revolution! So far no one going to the nest, however. 8 Yel-Dg/Or #297 here preening in Tree I! 1152. Someone getting chased. 8'296 displacing a bird now, just above the nest hole. 888 here. 1200. 8 no wing streamer here in Tree I. 1205. Someone Carricking up on the knoll somewhere. 8ub here for sure, greeting the 8's! 8'298 here. 1208. 8'296 with food feeding and leaves 1209. May be hope for the nest yet! 1210. Someone Carricking like crazy (at least 50 times in last 5 minutes!) up on the knoll: - 1218. 8'298 in hole.
