upper parts mottled light brown or grey a both
upper wing with one large alight patch
over outer secondaries. Ventral surface
appeared uniformly white or whited underwings
although underwing margins had a slight
brown/grey tinge. Flight with deep popped
wing beats interspersed with short glides-
very little circling, mostly remained horizontal
aud to water. Wing beat did not open a strong
undulation - 500y per min, but was not the
slow heavy beats of Logan Shoemaker - bird about
size of Mocker Swallows. A very clumsy appearance
(Fat)
