Watching. 3 birds came to nest tree to flycatch: ①♂ M/Red-Tan #282, ②♀ yel/DB-Yel #232, and ③♂ Red/#66. 1145. Birds wait silently while 2 Cooper Hawks fly over. (Hitting on underside of limb top). 1150. ④♂ Wh-LB/#67 and ⑤♂ ub. Also a tail-spotted ♀. One of the ♂♂ eating an acorn. 1210. Several birds here now, hawking and eating acorns, ⑥♂ ③M #298. ⑦♀ lg-Brn/lg #280. 1240. Lots of birds still around, mostly hawking but occasionally several spend a few minutes eating acorns. ⑧♂ a-b/4-b #63. 1300. Leaving. Birds pretty quiet now.
