Nobody else in the near vicinity Counted stores: Sycamore: 462 ) Valley Oak: 1551 } 3072 Nest/Misc: 59 ) 1150. A bird sitting in the Valley Oak perch tree along with at least 2 others was ♀ WHRW w/ Black Square/Diamond (new style, small) bands? Light (maybe B)/ . She sat up here peacefully for 10-15 minutes before flying off to P1, where she was immediately displaced. [Maybe #326?] *see 1155.♂ Wh/M #278 in Valley Oak perch area. 1203. ♂ Gm-BLk/Gm-BLk #63 here. Down at the Sycamore, somebody just displaced a bird and gave brief pursuit. Took a sample of 60 acorns out of the Valley Oak, replacing 15-20 with large lobeta acorns. The intruder was ♀308 from Lower Haystack. 14 January 1045-1115. 866 and 278 seen here again; birds still on W. side of road. 28 January 930. Watching; captive up in Lobeta granary. 950. 0° bees/ -wn#66. Birds way up toward AFE Nobody at granary yet. 1010. There are several AW's way up the canyon here almost at AFE, but for all I can tell they might just as well be a different group. 1035 - 1 bird landed in granary near the captive. 1040. Bird flew off without approaching him. 1045. ♂ Gm-BLk/Gm-BLk #63, plus 2 others (I probably an intruder) in the perch tree. 1055. Several others arrived; displaced intruder, including-
