24 January
1300. ①♀ Yel/Blk #176 sapsucking in Valley Oak. ②♀247 overa
ways.
28 January
1600. A ♂ in the sap tree definitely is ♂ my split (D-L) - probably 301.
1603. Now ♀ Yel/Blk #176 sapsucking. ②♀247 chasing some Hickey-
Gird from the granary.
1606. ♂WHLW #173 in granary along with ♀247.
1617. ♂ or -#171 here. Also, the above bird believed to have
been #301 may very well have been ♂ Blake-la/m #309 (Wing-streamer hiding).
1621. ♂309 flew to a crevice and dipped in several times,
apparently drinking.
1623. ♀ WthrW #308 here now sapsucking in their sap tree!
1625. ♂ or RW or / #307 in sap tree also!
1635. Leaving. At least 2 of the 1st year girls (307,308) still here.
9 February
1630. ♀247 plus a 2nd ♂ sapsucking in the usual tree.
1640. ♂ or y/m #171 here for sure.
1645. ♂ or RW or / #307 intercepted here also by ♂171.
1650. ♂ Yel/#176 here.
1652. ♂ DBRW #309 just landed in sap tree below ♀247,
1700. Both these girls still in sap tree; no obvious aggressive
moves by the ♀
1701. ♂ or/m #173 in granary with ♂171. Wing streamer lost.
1902. 5 girls (all but ♂309) in granary now; ♂8 working
stores; ♂9 sitting.
1903. ♂309 just landed briefly in large Valley Oak by the fence
on HNHR, then proceeded off toward Lower Haystack.
1715. Leaving. ♂174, 173 are certainly here "for good". Probably gone.
