Definite Orange Powder in ears & around mouth. Offspring of #1137.
Approx 42 days old, : born approx 5 March.
#1226 ♂ Imm, TWD. 25.5g. Ear-tagged. GRID RC, St 5,12. Blood, ear, saliva coll
Faint purple in ears ?? Not definite at all- Approx 44 days old : born 3 March.
Possibly young of #142. Timing is right for # 146
#1225 ♀ SAD, lump, nullip. 29.5g. Ear-tagged. RC drift fence, (St W-6) Blood, ear,
saliva coll.
No sign of any powder. Upon release animal wanted back in-
See spp account 3 May. Probably offspring of #1917 ♀♀.
This PM I caught #1146, 42g, post-lactating at station 5,12 and dusted
her with PURPLE Powder.
April 15 This AM on RC drift fence, st W-3, I caught #1917, ♀, 52g, pregnant,
post-lactating. I dusted her with RED Powder & released her back in
April 16 (#1914) - This AM on RC drift fence, St W-1, I caught a scrotal ♂ with fresh
RED Powder in ears; nobody. He has lost his ear tag and but
is most likely #1914. I toe-clipped him # D300.
#1228 ♂ SAD, TWD. 29g. Ear-tagged. RC drift fence, (St E-9 out). Blood, ear,
saliva coll.
No sign of any powder on this animal.

April 17 This PM on GRID MC I dusted #1943, ♀, lactating, 48g with RED Powder
(stations 8,17).
and #1184 ♀ nullip, 35.5g with GOLDEN BROWN
April 18 This AM on MC I caught #1141, ♂, scrotal, covered with fresh
RED Powder at station 9,14. He is obviously still mated to 1943.
He is about to loose his ear tag, so I toe-clipped him # D40 .
April 19 This AM on MC at station 8,17 I found the skull of a P. californicus on
the ground next to a trap. The skull is cracked at the left temporal.
Look worn and old.
The teeth don't look particularly worn. The skull is odd, from an
animal that must have died some time ago (>2 months) because
it is almost totally clean.
April 20 This PM on grid MC we redusted #1184 with GOLDEN BROWN at st 9,18
and #1205, nullip, pregnant (3) with BLUE-GREEN @ st 9,17
