(22 April) investigated by the other birds present.
1750. $157 atop of Plague alone.
27 April 1710. $245 seen sitting in Plague tree.
4 May 1035. On hill watching. None here at the moment.
1045. $unning now in Plague. Flew to sycamores by creek.
1048. All 3 ($245, $157, $ub) in sycamor; $245 flew to Plague
to displace $unning (intruder), who flew over to the 2°
storage tree before disappearing.
1105. Birds are moved up the East gulch a short ways,
apparently dealing with an intruder, among other things.
1105. leaving.
5 May All 3 birds are roosting in the telephone pole.
6 May Having set up to ambush to pole, the birds roosted in the '75
nest hole.
7 May Birds roosted in '75 nest hole again (all 3). Lots of pre-roost
mounting beforehand.
8 May $245 seen again at dusk. Only one bird roosted in '75 nest
hole- others up the gulch somewhere, apparently.
9 May 1535. $245 and the $ are in that dead tree about 100m.
up the gulch on the Red Hill side.
✓ 11 May 1200. Counted stores: $245 (all in Plague).
12 May 1040. $245 and $ub atop Plague.
19 May 1100. Bird in '75 nest hole by labs: could be a nest.
Bird seen in this hole every time I checked during the
day (about 3 times).
21 May 1500. I went up and opened the nest, which is about 6"
deep than last year, and found an incredible 7 eggs!
