I watched the ♀ for 10 minutes or so below the storage area, but
there was no sign of the baby.
29 June
1800-1815. Nothing.
1 July
1055. Nothing
15 July

16 July
730. ♂ peacock / ♀? #133 and ♀ Dark eye #132 in perch tree; flushed
across the canyon. No sign of the juvenile. Bands on the adults
seen well a few minutes later when they landed in the next tree.
29 July
1100. 2 birds in perch tree, inc. ♀ Dark eyes.

8 August
1030. 2 birds flushed from outer storage/nest tree.
10 August
A fair amount of activity (mostly wakea displays) was heard from
here much of the morning while I was at Bianca.
11 August Purge: j277, last seen presumably on 14 June; gone by 16 July,
Disappeared about 30 June, ± 2 weeks.
19 August
1645. 2 birds, ♂ and ♀, across the canyon picking acorns from a
Black Oak were probably this group.
31 August
1800. Counted stores: Outer: 75 261. No birds seen.
5 September
820. ♀ Dark eye #132 in storage tree; ♂ Red? / M #133 sitting in perch tree, but
also I thought a 3rd bird was here also (?)
825. 3rd bird, a ♂, was displaced from the area by the other 2.
