17 October
830. Watching.
845. The first 2 birds returning to the granary to work stores are (1)♂ LB/R-w-R #204 and (2)♀ Yel/m #128 (formerly of UA2).
848. More: (3)♂ LP-Red/Bik-Garn #120. (4)♂ DB/Lg# #123.
(5)♂wn/Red #205. (6)♂ DB-w(n)/m #121. (7)♂ u6. All here bringing, storing acorns.
855. (8)♀ LG/RW #207 (9)♀ DB-w(n)/DB #290 storing also
930. Flash: (10) ♂ or-DB/or #289 → not ♂ as previously reported.
♀128 still here, has been almost continuously.
933. ♀207 chattered a few seconds submissively toward
♀128 after landing "below" her on the snag.
936. (1)♂ or/ (left leg crippled) #122. This bird can barely walk anymore but is able to handle acorns nonetheless.
Numerous times there have been 6 birds here simultaneously in the granary.
1000. Leaving. Activity (mainly storing) continues at a dizzying pace here. Otherwise nothing unexpected happening. I should, however, move ♀128 and ♂205 back here where they belong.
18 October Add: ♂205 and ♀128: Moved to Arnold 3 on
1 July ± 2 weeks. These birds have clearly rejoined their "parent" group.
18 November
1635. ♀ M/or #289 storing in granary. ♀ DB-w(n)/DB #290 also.
♂ Red /??-yuch) #121 sitting in granary.
