Measured the kits. All 4 still o.k. 20 May 1930. " " " " " Eyes not open yet. "Eldest" has feather tracts coalesced; thinner ones have tracts dark splinters not together yet. 22 May 930. Went up, being worried after having discovered the failure at UAZ, but they (all 4) are all fine and nearly ready for banding. 8 June 1800. Banded and bled the babies, who are #s 287 to 290. 14 June 1830. FLAPW#207 and 2 others flushed from storage tree. Nobody else seen; no finely cues visible at the nest hole. 19 June See UAZ notes: ♂126 over at UAZ acting at home; also #207 there. 24 June Counted stores: 3920 (all in main tree). [NF=1380, MF=1260, SF=1280] 15 July 700. Watching in hide from the hill. 705. Several birds are around; one is being chased and tailed by a 2nd. This chasing continued off and on until at least 715. 725. Here now: (1) Rub (2) Rub. (3) Maw/m#288; (4) jor-289/or #289; (5) DB-W(m)/DB #290; chasing continues at 726. 737. Now (2) ♂ Red/DB-W(m)#121 and (4) ♀ Yel/m#28 (!). This latter bird was with (3); she was then seen near the storage
