My "mystery" bird again. This time I got enough of a look at his right leg to force me to admit the strong likelihood that he is indeed #114, and that I did indeed screw up his legs, as it were, when I caught him last June. 1130. Leaving. I returned a little later to check the marked acorns here, finding 88/100, of which an impressive 8 had been moved (some from one tree to another). Later, I watched at dusk, seeing 5 birds roost (4 in the spring nest hole). 3 February 17 February Saw 9 YelRw #201, ♂ Pink/Pink #114, plus at least 3 others flush when I came at 1100 to count stores: Lambert fallen tree: 1004 Hastings Fallen tree: 1563 TOTAL = 2968 Nest tree: 165 2° Valley Oak: 236 I also checked the marked acorns, finding 73/88, of which 8 had again been moved. 9 April 1330. Several birds in the area. Counted stores: Lam. fallen tree: 556 . Decimated, partially to squirrels, not doubt. Hast. fallen tree: 1410 Nest tree: 77 2° Valley Oak: 60 Total: 2103
