11 January 1200. 3 birds are apparently still in the vicinity; ♂PRW
#184 and ♀ub#337 were seen.
50 acorns were taken as a sample from the Valley Oak
storage tree. None were marked due to difficulty of access.

11 February 1245. I drove by and saw 3 birds in the sycamore perch
tree across the road from the loka storage tree. I couldn't identify
any of them well, but one ♂ seemed to be ♂wn / black and was
no doubt #184.
29 March 1115. All 3 birds seen well in storage area. They were
mostly flycatching.
Count: Valley Oak: 444 ? 116!

One way or the other, stores are clearly not greatly
diminished here as yet.
18 April 1900. None seen in/out of holes in a quick pass of area.
1900. 3 birds flushed from nest/roost tree at dusk.
20 April 1000. All 3 birds seen and identified in storage area
(184,337,68). I watched them hawk for a few minutes
and none else seemed to be present. Stores definitely
do remain.
