Count: Sycamore: 340 } 1752 Vally Oak: 1412 No birds seen or heard here. 18 April 1700. 5 birds sitting atop nest sycamore, all flushed up hill. 20 April 1015. There is lots of flying and calling here, but unlike the current situation at R1 the flying all seems to be hawkking, which the birds are doing like crazy, and the calling seems to stem from a general level of excitement resulting in wake displays everytime a bird comes back from a hawk flight. One bird at least, 8349 (ub), was storing his insects in the Vally Oak up on the knoll other perches were the sycamore storage tree by the creek. No chases were seen.
