920. ②♂RRLW#249 storing acorn, ①183 begging below him with sque-titr calls. ③♀unbanded #346 eating acorn in storage tree.
There is lots of activity up above me (mostly waka greeting calls) on the hillside. So far only an occasional bird has come down this far.
②♀69 or-ta/da
in storage tree.
940. ⑤♀ LP/LB#92 " " " to store an acorn briefly.
945. ①♀ here for the 3rd or 4th time. No other 1st yr. birds yet, but still lots of calling above me.
1010. Same adults have returned several more times to eat/work stores. Still no more 1st yr. birds.
1015. ⑥♂unbanded#347 moved an acorn in storage tree, left shortly afterwards.
1020. Intruder chased by ① and another bird first from the storage tree down to the road, then across the road.
1021. ④♀PRW#180 came to storage tree below①.
1045. I'm going to attempt to find out what's going on above me. Nobody here.
1052. ⑧♂OrLW#182 down eating acorn in storage tree.
1105. I've circled around the knoll and survey well up the canyon directly up from the storage tree. There are several trees here where birds are frequenting. Most have been unbanded or unidentifiable, but in one of the more out-of-the-way spots I did see BPRW#181.
