The count: Gate tree: O 355 Total: 355
Westgate tree: 355
Another bird was in the top of the Westgate tree, making 5.
When I walked by several flew done to the sycamores by Hallisey's, where there was at least a 6th bird, and a 7th was
in one of the holes in the Westgate tree above the road.
One of the birds atop the Westgate tree was a tail spotted, un-
banded ♂ (#320, presumed juvenile).
♂ La #58 was one of the birds who flew into the Westgate
tree at 1955.
At dusk, 6 birds roosted in the willow by the creek, 3 in
each of the 2 holes (2 were the wing-streamered juveniles).
I saw none looking out of any of the holes in either
Gate or Westgate.
17 March Only 1 bird roosted in the hole tonight.
21 March Birds are now roosting in the willow and back in their
