Agaricus exculbutus Wulf. ? Bachelot. prof 50? Ex Plantation, Recensipuff, M.S. Taglia.
Stipes 1/2 inch broad, smooth, fusiform with a slight tawny hue, flattish hemispherical.
Gills not adnate, broad and contituous next to stem, white, pattern clear, then coarser ciliated!!
Hymenium white and pallid. Stem upwards of an inch high, white and fluted immediately
under the Stipes, tawny below, thin in breadth, white below but splitting above under
the Stipes - bent below and a long way beneath the surface of the decayed prorites or at
it pours with tawny fibers.
If this be A. exculbutus Wulf the ciliated & the gills has been hitherto unnoticed.
